IMPORTANT! YOU NEED TO APPLY FOR A VISA IN ADVANCE!

(Don’t worry, it’s easy, only costs $50 and is quick to do. )

 

Apply For Your Visa Here: https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/evisa/tvoa.html It’s the official government website. Follow the instructions to request the visa, pay via credit card, and you’ll be notified via email soon thereafter.

You’ll need to bring with you a printed copy of:

1. Visa approval notice.

2. Printed copy of your return ticket.

3. Bank statement showing you have funds to afford to be there. (I wasn’t asked for the latter, but they say you need it).

FLIGHT INSTRUCTIONS FOR YOUR TRIP:

Arriving Flight Requirements: Please book your flight to arrive in to India Gandhi International Airport, Delhi (DEL)  the evening of Sunday July 7, or at least several hours before 9:30am on July 8.  

Our program starts at 8am in the hotel lobby on the first day of the trip, (Monday, July 8) arriving the night before will ensure that you feel well rested. We will have hotel rooms available for all participants for the night before the program as part of your program cost.

Airport arrival: Please refer to this blog which provides step by step instructions from the moment you arrive at the airport in India, including customs, baggage claim, taking out cash, and getting a SIM.

On a JustifiGO trip we have a meet and greet at the airport, where we taxi together to the hotel.

 Thailand does not require a visa in advance for visitors from most developed countries. See visahq.com/ to confirm your status. Most tourists get a 30 day visa on arrival, free of charge.

FLIGHT INSTRUCTIONS FOR YOUR TRIP:

Departing Flight Requirements:  Book return flights home from BKK International Airport in Bangkok after 6pm on July 30, we will ensure you arrive at the airport before 4pm for international check-in.  

Note: If you choose to extend your trip, you may book onward travel from either BKK international airport after 6pm, or from the domestic airport (DMK) as early as 4pm. We will be flying domestically back through DMK before taking you to BKK airport, so you may choose to depart early at the domestic airport for an onward flight from there.

Dress Code

Skirts should reach the knee, necklines should reach the collarbone, sleeves should cover at least half the upper arm. Short sleeves are acceptable but not cap sleeves please. Feel free to wear leggings under skirts or aladdin pants. There are no guidelines for footwear or legwear from the knee down! 

For those amongst you who observe the rules of Das Yehudis when it comes to stockings or socks, Justifi’s posek ruled for our groups that Das Yehudis need not apply when we are away from established Jewish communities. We recommend that you ask your own halachic shailos if you have any questions!
