Having become accustomed to a revolving door of Shabbat guests from a young age. I am fortunate and grateful to have been raised by such loving and giving parents in the small, warm, quirky Jewish community of Mt. Freedom in Randolph, New Jersey. My small-town life taught me to be accepting and welcoming to all people from all walks of life, a lesson I carry with me in all of my endeavors. These endeavors currently include research for a master’s in Maritime Civilizations at the University of Haifa, excavating on land and sea at sites such as Dor, Ma’agan Mikhael, and Caesarea, and working with Justifi.
I joined the Justifarian family in the summer of 2016 while I was working in project management at a pharmaceutical company. I had been missing my volunteering work in college and felt the need to get back out into the world in a meaningful way. It was clear from the start that I had formed a deep connection with the social justice work, and I truly believe in Justifi’s goals. I have been working with the team in different capacities since then, and I am excited to continue spreading excitement, joy, love, adventure, purpose, passion, and Jewish expression around the world.
