Justifi: Jewish Social Justice Terms of Service

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. The Justifi: Jewish Social Justice ("Justifi") Terms of Service is a legal agreement between you and Justifi (“we,” “us,” or “our”) that governs your participation and interaction on Justifi.org and other Justifi services (collectively, the “Site”) and your purchases and use of products and services made available through the Site. By using the Site, you signify that you have read, understand and agree to be bound by all of these Terms. We have the right to change the Justifi Terms at any time without notice, effective upon its posting to our Site. Your continued use of the Site shall be considered your acceptance to the revised Terms.
SERVICE PROVIDER TERMS.
Service Providers may require you to agree to additional terms and conditions in connection with the products and services you purchase from them. Please read all additional terms and conditions carefully. You agree to abide by all additional terms and restrictions, including without limitation, availability, age and occupancy requirements, pet policies, policies on children, fares and other restrictions. You agree that any violation of any such terms and/or restrictions may result in cancellation of your reservation, forfeiture of costs and expenses in connection with your reservation, and being charged by Justifi for any costs we incur as a result of such violation.
TRAVEL INSURANCE.
You agree and acknowledge that in order to participate in any Justifi program, travel insurance is compulsory. The insurance that you obtain must adequately cover you for medical expenses, accidents, property loss, all tour costs, and curtailment or cancellation of your trip. Such insurance is not included with your purchase on the Site. Proof of insurance will be required prior to departure and lack thereof will result in cancellation of participation in the Justifi program.
Your insurance must cover:
- Trip delay, interruption, or cancellation.
- Cost of program expenses in the event of trip cancellation
- Baggage Loss or Delay
- Medical Expense up to $50,000+
- Hospitalization
- Emergency Evacuation
- Sports and Adventure Activities.
Justifi may make medical decisions on your behalf as suggested by medically trained professionals. Justifi is not responsible for the costs of any participant's medical treatment, this is the responsibility of the trip participant and relevant insurance provider.
Justifi is not responsible for refunding trip expenses for any reason of cancellation and so your insurance must cover your paid trip expenses in case of this event.
PARTICIPANT TRIP CANCELLATION AND REFUND SCHEDULE.
We are able to offer a full refund of the program deposit for 48 hours from time of confirmation. After this period, we cannot accept cancellations or changes to Justifi reservations for any reason and all payments submitted are non-refundable.
If you wish to change to another Justifi program, Justifi will accommodate you if possible. There is a $100 fee for changing programs. We will work to review and resolve the issue in the way we deem most appropriate, subject to our sole discretion. There will be no refunds given due to program demand and the volume of pre-program preparation.
PAYMENT PLAN TERMS.
Payment plans are made available by Justifi to help participants in financial need finance their trip over multiple installments. A limited number of payment plans are available per program. Payment plans require $600 total payments for Nicaragua and Thailand or $1,000 for Peru (Includes Deposit + First Payment) to be completed at least 1-week prior to trip start date. Remaining payments will be divided over equal installments over a 6-month period.
Failure to complete all payments in the payment plan is to violate your terms of service with Justifi and any unpaid portion of program fees will be sent to collection, which may have a negative effect on personal credit.
PROGRAM INTERRUPTION, CANCELLATION, OR POSTPONEMENT.
Justifi reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or reschedule scheduled program for any reason, including but not limited to political concerns, health or safety concerns, environmental concerns, transportation interruption, insufficient participant enrollment, or financial insolvency of Justifi or our partner organizations. In the event that Justifi declares it necessary to cancel or postpone a scheduled program, Justifi will provide notice of cancellation or postponement and offer alternatives to the desired program, when available. If a suitable alternative program is not available, the participant is entitled to a full refund of all submitted payments. Justifi is not responsible for any payments or losses incurred to 3rd party providers, including but not limited to the cost of travel to the destination, travel insurance, vaccinations, or other preparatory expenses incurred in association with the Justifi program.
INCIDENTAL FEES.
The purchases made through Justifi do not include incidental expenses, except as specifically described in your itinerary, and you are liable for all such incidental expenses that you incur during, or in anticipation of, your purchased product and/or service. These things may include but are not limited to: airfare to the destination, 3rd meals, incidental expenses, and any entrance or departure fees into the destination country.
PROGRAM CHANGES AND ADJUSTMENTS.
Sample itineraries provided before the program are for informational purposes only and actual program itinerary may be different and of comparable value. Trips are run As-Is and if a participant chooses not to partake in scheduled activities or use provided transportation options, he or she does so at his or her own choosing without additional compensation due.
In the event that a trip cannot be run as advertised, Justifi reserves the right to alter or adjust the advertised itinerary to offer a comparable program with no additional compensation due.
RISKS AND INDEMNITY.
You acknowledge and agree that participation in activities, such as adventure travel, involves inherent risks and dangers of accidents, personal and bodily injury (including death) and property loss or damage. You agree that you have considered the nature and extent of the risks involved and voluntarily choose to assume all such risks, both known and unknown, even those risks that result from the negligence of others and assume full responsibility for your participation in such activities.
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Justifi, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, services providers and licensors from and against all losses, liabilities, costs (including without limitation attorneys’ fees and costs on appeal or at trial), damages, judgments, claims, of every kind and nature, to the fullest extent permitted by law, arising from or relating in any way to (i) your use of the Site, (ii) the products and services purchased through the Site, (iii) any liabilities, claims, damages and injuries arising from or related to any act or omission of a Service Provider or another third party, (iv) your conduct in connection with the Site, or (v) your violation of these Justifi Terms, the Terms of Service, any law or the rights of any third party.
PROMOTIONS:
Winners of all promotions run by Justifi will be selected based on the criteria promoted, subject to final approval from Justifi. Promotions may be discontinued at any time without prior notification without compensation due.

We're happy to offer a $50 discount off your next paid Justifi trip for each friend you refer to join us. Limit 4 referrals ($200 maximum lifetime discount). New referrals only - past applicants and past participants do not count as 'referred friends' since they already applied. Discount goes one way only, 2 friends cannot 'refer' each other.
Justifi works in partnership with JROOTS Ltd, of 379 Hendon Way, London, NW43LP. JROOTS as partners organize tour liability insurance on behalf of Justifi and any claim that would result would be directly though them.
